In a previous post I attempted to ‘fix’ the ranger archetypes, which…well, it exists. I also posted links to Reddit, which has an amazing RPG community (mostly) who are always willing to discuss ideas, and critique new creations.
As a case in point: user Bluegobln got in touch to show me the work s/he’d done alongside/on top of my ideas. I think we both agreed that more work needed doing to properly balanced everything, but I love the changes they’ve made. I bet this is just like how Lennon and McCartney got started…

Some good work here. I like the idea of “magical bond” allowing your beast to protect you when absent. Would quite like to try using a ranger class in our next campaign…
